The Zink Petite MK II & Bill Greer

Bill Greer was the primary driver on the Zink Petite’s. He initially drove the MK I car at Indianapolis on August 20 1961. His next outing in the MK I car was the following April 1962 at VIR. Bill raced the MK II car in 1963 season winning the HMOD National SCCA Championship with the MK II car. The car placed well in Bill’s hand throughout the 1963 season. John Goethert, Bill’s step son, has a web page dedicated to his step father at www.triumphspitfire.com/zinkpetite. After winning the HMOD National Championship, Bill moved onto formula V with Zink, competing in numerous races in FV class.

The following are pictures from various sources of the MK II during the period were Bill was driving. In addition on the Newspaper tab are articles that I have found regarding the car(s) during the 1962/63 season.

This is the official Knoxville Journal with Bill and Ed after winning the championship with the MK II car.
